“She gave us the vacation we needed”
“ Myra looked after him, as needed, 24 hours a day-she is incredibly
hard working, dedicated and professional. Myra’s knowledge of early
childhood development is also notable - she helped teach our son
many new things, which we loved.”
Diane; Warren, New Jersey
“This is my first time to hire a baby
nurse, and thus far, Myra has exceeded my expectations of her.” “ It
is evident to me that Myra truly enjoys her job. She has nurtured my
daughter as if she was her own, along with being proactive and
diligent in all her duties. She comes with lots of experience. Her
demeanor is pleasant and approachable. Myra is also very flexible
with schedules as she understands the added responsibilities of a
newborn baby.” “She is a joy to have around and will be missed once
her work is done.”
Kathlyn; North Bergen, New Jersey
“Myra toured the house with an eagle eye
with safety on her mind. She wanted to be made aware of all exits,
locks, alarms and idiosyncrasies of the house. She had a list which
included many items I wouldn’t have thought of myself.”
“Safety was always Myra’s top priority and the children respected
that. Myra felt more comfortable driving her car with my daughter’s
car seat fitted inside. With this being the case, she provided me
with her licensing and car details to have on hand while I was away.
I found this professionalism very reassuring.”
“Upon my return I found my house in perfect order. It was a pleasure
to read the daily log as I felt I was able to catch up on what I
missed. The children were happy and my daughter’s teacher commented
on how wonderful Myra was.”
“It seems my daughter rushed into her class room one morning without
acknowledging a teacher’s greetings. Myra kindly reminded her of her
manners ( as I would have wanted her to do). Hearing this from a
favorite teacher was the icing on the cake for my get away.”
Kaye; Irvington, New York
“Her knowledge of baby nursing and her
willingness to do all night feedings allowed my wife the rest she
needed to recover from her surgery.”
“ Myra went above and beyond what was expected of her in regards to
our newborn and two older children. She occupied the older
children’s time by playing, and doing arts and crafts with them.
Myra immediately gained our trust, and demonstrated that she is
truly a professional in the infant and child care field.”
Tim; Hicksville, New York
“I strongly commend her for not only her
abilities but also her exceptionally pleasant and kind nature as
well. I trusted her implicitly organizing and managing every aspect
of the twin’s care and was always impressed with her skill and
resourcefulness.”
Ken; Manhattan, New York
“During that time she has become part of
our family and I can not speak highly enough of her level of
competency, responsibility, reliability, warmth, and genuine
affection for our children.”
“One of our sons also has special needs and Myra has been a big part
of his remarkable development over the past few years and is able to
provide the extra attention and care that he sometimes needs.”
Yvonne; Montclair, New Jersey
“She was excellent with our children as
infants and could be trusted to follow instructions and schedules
exactly. As our children grew she did also and was able to adjust to
the changes in responsibilities and duties that came with their
growing older.”
“Myra’s duties have gone from changing diapers and feeding infants
to driving to preschool and play dates and now to helping with
homework and working out the logistics of soccer practice, little
league, and hockey clinics.”
“Myra has lived in our home for 10 years. She is quiet, neat and
very organized which has made her living here an easy adjustment for
our family. We are sorry to see her leave but understand her desire
to work again with younger children as all three of ours are now in
school full time.”
Sharon; West Orange, New Jersey
Hiring Myra for this position was one of
the best decisions I made. Knowing I was having a C-Section and had
3 other young boys to care for during the day, having Myra care for
the baby during the night allowed me to make a proper and quick
recovery. With a C-Section, getting in and out of bed all night to
care for a baby is very painful and difficult. With having had a
full nights rest, I was more alert during the daytime.
Myra was extremely professional. She was
always and consistently on time. She was exceptionally clean with
regards to her appearance and hygiene with the baby in terms of
constant hand washing, sanitizing of bottles, nipples and pacifiers.
Myra kept a detailed log of everything
that occurred with the baby during the night. She was seen as very
gentle with the baby and attentive to his needs.
Myra was extremely respectful of our
home as well. She was knowledgeable in various newborn topics such
as breastfeeding, pumping etc. She provided many valuable tips (via
discussions and literature she handed out to me) and provided
suggestions that even as a fourth-time mom appreciated.
I would highly recommend Myra for
newborn care and any type of child care.

I had two major concerns when
interviewing for this position. The first was I truly wanted someone
who spoke paper English. As a teacher, I know that language
development begins at infancy. My second concern was to find someone
that I could feel at home with in our small Manhattan apartment.
Myra fit the bill on both counts. She constantly spoke to the boys
with a soft, kind manner and was quite understanding of my personal
space.
